Outcome overview

The programme has generated measurable outcomes across ethics, workforce development, health and safety, supply-chain responsibility, community contribution and environmental governance.

During 2025, Sundus delivered 35 training sessions involving 4,585 participants. The programme included four external training sessions, 13 knowledge-connect sessions and 18 soft-skills programmes. Recorded training covered approximately 54 delivery hours, with an average of 23 training hours per employee.

Specific awareness programmes included Ethics and HSE Compliance Awareness for 187 participants, Ethical Awareness at the Workplace for 280 participants, HSE Awareness for 265 participants, ESG and Sustainability Awareness for 260 participants, Information Security Awareness for 150 participants and First Aid Emergency training for 150 participants. These results demonstrate that responsible business expectations were communicated at scale rather than remaining limited to policy documents.

Health and safety performance provides further evidence of impact. Sundus recorded zero lost-time injuries across 2023–2025. During 2025, approximately 168,000 working hours were reported, together with zero recordable vehicle incidents and zero fire or explosion events in the available HSE statistics. The organisation also incorporated wellbeing topics such as stress management, cancer awareness, first aid and workplace safety into its training programme.

Ethics and grievance registers show both prevention and transparency. Available core-employee tracker months recorded zero grievances, zero ethics cases, zero bribery or fraud cases and zero policy violations. For outsourced employees, 12 matters were logged and categorised during January–December 2025, demonstrating that issues were visible and formally monitored. No whistleblower-retaliation cases were recorded.

Supply-chain performance was monitored through 23 sustainable-procurement actions. Sixteen actions were already in place, five were partially implemented and two were planned for the next cycle. Procurement staff training reached 100%, while local procurement spend was reported at 95%.

Seventeen suppliers were evaluated during 2025, achieving an average evaluation score of 73.2 out of 100. All 17 remained approved, with 14 rated Good and three rated Very Good. No supplier ESG incidents were reported. The programme also identified clear areas for improvement, including supplier-code acknowledgement at 45% and sustainability clauses in contracts at 35%, both of which were incorporated into the 2026 action plan.

Community impact included a worker-welfare initiative at Hira Management Accommodation Camp, where cold beverages were distributed to approximately 70–120 individuals. Nine employees were also documented as participating in Clean UAE and Emirates Environmental Group activities in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

Environmental evidence included approximately 140.8 MWh-equivalent of available UAE portfolio purchased energy, an Abu Dhabi energy-audit baseline of 68.9 MWh-equivalent, 80,826 paper sheets tracked across offices and 21 recyclable-collection events during 2025. Supporting controls included an energy and GHG policy, paper monitoring, waste records and a single-use plastics policy.

External validation further strengthens the submission. Sundus holds evidence of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 22301 certifications. EcoVadis awarded Sundus a score of 57/100 and a Committed Badge, with theme scores of 65 for Environment, 56 for Labour and Human Rights, 57 for Ethics and 55 for Sustainable Procurement. The Green Project FY2025 profile also recorded the organisation as compliant with a Bronze decarbonisation score.

Continual improvement is supported by 65 EcoVadis-related corrective actions, of which 18 were completed and 47 remained in progress, together with an ESG and sustainability budget of approximately AED 138,700 for 2026.
