Clarity for entrants, judges, sponsors, and guests.
Answers to the most common operational and programme questions across the awards lifecycle.
Entries & Applications
When do entries close?
Entries close on the published cycle deadline, subject to any published extensions. We recommend submitting ahead of the deadline to allow time for final review of your evidence and responses.
Can I save a draft and return later?
Yes. The entrant portal uses autosave logic, so you can continue working on an application across multiple sessions without losing progress. Drafts remain accessible until the entry deadline.
Can I submit to more than one category?
Yes. Separate entry fees apply for each category submission. Each entry is evaluated independently against the specific criteria for that category.
Can I submit a nomination instead of an application?
Yes, where a category is nomination-enabled. Nominations can be submitted from the entrant portal and follow the same eligibility and evaluation process as direct entries.
Evaluation & Judging
How are entries judged?
Each category uses a weighted scoring framework. Judges score independently, with conflicts declared before assignment. Moderation controls and governance checks are applied before any outcome is confirmed.
How are judges selected?
Judges are selected for sector-relevant expertise, professional standing, and demonstrated independence. All judges must declare conflicts of interest before being assigned to any category.
Can I receive feedback on my submission?
Feedback availability varies by cycle and category. Where structured feedback is part of the programme, this is communicated through the entrant portal after the evaluation phase is complete.
Fees & Payments
How are fees and invoices handled?
Entry fees are connected to WooCommerce products, allowing invoice generation, payment confirmation, and order history through the standard checkout workflow. All payments are processed securely.
Are entry fees refundable?
Entry fees are generally non-refundable once a submission is confirmed. Please review the terms and conditions applicable to the current cycle for full details.
Winners & Recognition
How are winners published?
Winner records are published through the AExA platform following final validation and governance sign-off. Each published record forms part of the permanent programme archive.
What recognition assets are provided to winners?
Winners receive access to digital recognition assets, including verified winner badges and a published winner record on the AExA platform. Further recognition options may be available through the gala event and partner channels.
Gala & Events
How do I book a gala table?
Gala table bookings are managed through WooCommerce gala products. Contact the AExA team directly or use the contact form to discuss table availability and booking requirements.
